I have the phone # of MS Scammers . What to do what to do

So I got the phone # from a client for the office of the supposed "Microsoft Support" guys, who remote in and password protect your computer if you don't pay them.

They called my client saying they want to refund him the money they cost him and to follow "a link in the email we will send you".

Gonna have some fun with this one if I can...

ideas?

I would suggest telling them that YOU are having tonnes of problems, ask them if they have any signals that your pc is having trouble, tell them you suspect malware etc just for giggles, and then at the end...tell them you have a mac xD

I'm thinking about getting a Windows 95 machine booted up here....

As Devlin1888 said , I don't see any point in doing anything but stringing them along and having some fun with it ,as they have been doing this scam for years now, I don't need the number ,they call us here sometime twice a month ,but not lately as we made them angry a few time now making fun of them

Logon via the TOR network to say "The City of London Police" who in the UK deal with Monetary Fraud, Stock Exchange "Boiler Rooms" etc Internet Scams and the like, now offer to pay the scammers to fix the machine, meanwhile routing the Bill etc to "City of London Police".

Now close down Tor and logoff.

(You use TOR to hide / masquerade IP address and browse anonymously among other things).

Have fun !!! -- It'll at least get The City of London Police interested -- I can't see them paying the Bill

If in Canada, just give them a number with 911 as the first 3 numbers, like 4169115555 to call you, that should get them in trouble in a hurry. As soon as somebody dials it will cal 911. All calls traced and recorded.

actually not sure if it will get them to 911 emergency if they use the area code before the 911 ,and I am not going to try it

Used to work, it was popular way to get back at somebody, if they don't catch it. A friend of mine picked up a girl at a bar, needles to say he was drunk at the time. After nice evening with her and a lot of drinks, she gave him a number like that, Next morning he tried to phone her and all he got is a bunch of Toronto's finest on his door.
