Has anyone had a problem with Avast turning off USB ports?
After weeks of stable computer use, I tried using Avast once again, but I noticed when I restarted, my USB mouse no longer worked. I moved it to another USB slot and it worked, so I didn't worry about it.
Then today, I noticed that the two front USB slots on my computer weren't reading anything. I remembered this problem started when I started using Avast, so I uninstalled Avast and presto, I regained usage of my USB ports upon reboot.
Does anyone who uses Avast here know what's going on and how to keep AVAST from turning off the ports? I couldn't see anything on google offhand. If not, I may just go back to Windows Defender.
