Hi,
A friend just got a Fujitsu FMVA53MB ultrabook. He and I went through the install and chose "No McAfee" on the initial, pre-Windows screen. Once in Windows, after figuring out 8.1 :-( when he clicked on the "Office" tile, he got a pop-up box that said his installation of McAfee was not complete, showed us how to complete the install, and had just a "Stop Installation" button.
Surely this is a big mistake, right? I advised him to have his wife call Fujitsu (we're in Japan) and add to their queue of people presumably asking the same thing (for thoise smart enough to avoid McAfee), but I'm guessing the workaround is to go into Windows security app and make sure it has accepted the Avast antivirus that we installed instead of McAfee. Launching Avast itself says it is working fine.
I have some screenshots taken with my tablet, but they are all in Japanese. Does anyone have feedback or suggestions?
Thank you.
Greg
