Hi guys,

I see we have sticky topics for Malwarebytes & Avast. Considering that a lot of infections seem to be about malware such as nasties that re-direct web pages, pop-ups, hijackers etc could they be expanded to include a list of the most common infections and how to tackle them or at the very least a list of software i.e malwarebytes, adware cleaner and the like for peeps to be directed to. Sort of a self help page. Not sure how much work that woudl be or even if it's pracitable?

Hello again Barney Rubble,

That's a really great idea but I seriously doubt that it can be done effectively in this forum. Moreover, I am only guessing that it would result in a maintenance nightmare for anyone trying to take on such a massive project. Also, since this forum is not primarily focused on malware detection and removal, I think that type of effort would be easier for one of the other "malware specifc" forums to tackle. Just my opinion and you can expect more to follow but as my name implies, that's just my2cents.

Cheers!
