Webroot Secure Anywhere and Windows 8/ 8.1

Anyone having major performance problems with Webroot Secure Anywhere and Windows 8/8.1? After installing on an Asus Ultrabook (Clean OS install) I'm experiencing hangs loading Explorer, IE, just basically doing anything is producing these long delays/lockups. At first, I thought it had to do with 8.1, but I performed a factoring rest, install all updates, with the exception of 8.1 and had the same problem. Uninstalled Webroot, and everything is fine.

It seems like other AVs are having major issues with 8.1 as well. FYI, you might want to try just running with Defender and maybe try adding Malware Bytes to the mix if that would make you feel more secure. However, eventually they will all get it right, but until then, I'm personally riding out the storm with just Defender.

Yeah, thats what ended up doing. Hopefully the kinks get worked out soon.
