I never heard of this program... opinions? Compatibility with various security programs, AVG, Malwarebytes, COMODO Firewall? I'm willing to give a go at this one.

It's been around for a long time. *Not to be confused with Spybot.

It's just a list of block zones it adds in the registry, that don't allow certain malicious sites, programs from being accessed in IE/FF.

It's not a running program (doesn't "run" or "scan"), so it doesn't interfere with any other anti-malware program.

Something you can add real quick for some extra protection. Set it/forget it kind of thing. Manually check for updates every couple weeks.

There's more about it's explanation on their website.

SpywareBlaster runs happily in the background offering great protection.
Have always found it compatible with the Security programs running on the computers here.
    Try it & see.

Free version doesn't really "run" as I mentioned above. There's no process of it running at all. Just sets zone rules and that's it.

Unless you pay for auto updates.

You of course are correct "Pedant" Aaron.

"Run" was used by me as an "euphemism" to denote the "distortion" of fact & "alteration" of the "conventions" of grammar or language.

Just a small clarification. Don't want anyone to get confused is all. No offense intended, Ma'am.

    Minor misnomer.
