Kaspersky configuration

Now I don't know if anyone has done an upgrade from 7 where they had Kaspersky ISS installed and configured but just to let others know in case not that the program carries across but not the configuration.

You will have to go through the whole config again. I found this yesterday after I had redone the install / upgrade and Kaspersky when I contacted them could not tell me why this happens as I did request my settings to be carried over when installing.

For Aussie users the support number is now through some off shore centre and a very poor substitute for the excellent support that there used to be in place so be ready for lengthy delays and a somewhat haphazard communications issue.

I have a reply showing in email as from GillBates but it isn't linking but ok Gill thanks for the heads up - I did notice too that although I asked for all my settings and programs it would not let me do that I had to settle for settings hence why I was getting this confusion.

For example the 2007 Office Adobe CCleaner etc etc did not come across so found I was having to download that lot again. So it leaves me wondering what did it mean by settings (the second option) ??
