Doubts

Hey guys

I have a massive drive that I'm afraid is filled with crazy Trojans and stuff.

I want to scan this puppy with as many scanners as possible.

I don't want any "active protection" or any software that will interfere with Windows Defender.

I just want a scanner that will scan a drive.

What I use now:

1) Malewarbytes
2) Emisoft (works GREAT if you haven't tried it)
3) SuperAntiSpyware

Can you guys recommend any light third party scanners to use in addition to this?

Traits I'm looking for:

1) light (no active protection)
2) free

Thanks guys

Thanks for the tip!

I've used that in the past, forgot all about it.

Will give it a whirl again.

Any others?

Curious, why use three different scanners to accomplish one thing? One complete scan with Malwarebytes should accomplish what you want.

Because I'm a paranoid schizophrenic.

:)

I remember I had a "zbot" Trojan.. Malwarebytes did NOT pick it up.

But Emisoft did.

I then ran a scan of the infected file over on Jotti's, and like 20% of the scanners picked it up.

I believe in scanning redundancy.

:)

Just my $.02
