Norton Internet Security & exclusions

Need some help with Norton Internet Security and keeping it from deleting/clearing my cookies for websites like this or others when I have my log-in credentials saved. Basically every time I run a scan it clears my cookies making me have to re-log in to all my sites.

Anyone who's using NIS know how to keep it from doing this?

Please, no NIS bites or get something else. Would like the answer to this one.

BTW this is a Win 8 laptop, and I installed NIS myself.

Unknown about NIS.
But I use Norton 360 with NO problems with log-in's after a norton scan.

Yeah I'm sure it's the internet part of the program thinking it's doing it's job :confused:

Anyway I posted this in both forums (Win 7 & 8) and someone may have posted a solution for me. I'll give it a try and see what happens.

I have NIS 2012 and under Settings-Computer-Computer Scan set the Tracking Cookies Scan to Ignore or to Ask Me and see if that helps.

Yeah I found that. Took a bit of digging, but I found it.

Anyway it seems like they (Norton/Symantec) want you to use their cloud service to store all your keys and passwords for Internet log-ins. I use Cloud services, but I'm not sure I want to keep my passwords there.

Anyway I just set it to "ask me". It's a temp fix for now :confused:
