AVG Internet Security 2011 64 Bit

For some reason I cannot install this. I could on W7 but not on W8/WDP?

    Anyone?

Have you checked on the AVG Forums to see if there is any such discussion going on?
Or if you have the paid version check with Support.....

That was my initial findings, AVG gives you free versions but with less featuresw all the time, i don't think a paid one will impact the installation.

    aem,
Just spoken with my local AVG reseller.
The advice is NOT to use it with WIN 8 at this early stage.

Thanks for that. AVG will no doubt make it work at a latter date.

In recent years, AVG was problematic anyhow. You are probably better off using MSE which works well.

In my computer club we had 6 triple booted system heavily infected - AVG was the installed AV program on all systems. It took 3 people one week to get everything back in order. Since then I would not touch AVG with a 10 foot pole.
