I got one phone call after another about a Windows 7 "Black Screen of Death" - It would nto go past the black screen with the mouse, it would just stall.
Was there some Windows Downdate that caused this, or some virus that was universally distributed? I had to do a system restore on 5 Windows 7 Puters at two different clients. All of them were stalling at the Black Screen and Cursor.
One of them had no restore points, I was forced to do a complete Windows 7 reinstall on it.
Anyone else notice anything even remotely similar to this? ps: These were all Dell systems, with completely legit activations.
I found this: This explains it. So if this has happened to you, do a System Restore from the install disk.
