Solved kaspersky trial, removal method how to please?

so..new laptop arrived, it has a kaspersky antivirus trial, I want that gone, as I already have an antivirus I wanna put in.

how do I remove kaspersky, preferably with a minimum of pain?

hmm.. says it doesnt work on 64bit operating systems...

will try in the morning.. kind of too out of it to do much more messing around with the new lappy and trying to do soemthing that needs my attention when tired like this is a fine and dandy way to risk screwing something up right and proper.
