Windows 8 choppy audio problem

i need help my audio is really choppy for some reason, can someone hep me fix it ?

hi i need help with my audio, its really choppy, I use realtek hd audio manager, and it doesnt matter if my headphones are plugged in or its my speakers, my headphones work perfectlyfine on my mp3 player but not my computer, i need some hepl pleas

Audio problems such as what you describe are hard to pin down. There is no "one fix" for the problem. Each one has to be handled individually.

First step, run the Resplendence Latency Mon program and see what it pinpoints. Resplendence Software - Advanced System Tools and Developer Components

Some known causes include wi-fi, audio drivers, video drivers. Please fill in the "My System Spec's" so we have an idea of what your PC hardware is. It helps us to try and help you.

Hi, Sorry to waste your time, but i figured out what the audio problem was, it was my mistake, i had the setttings set to hd and not studio in the realtek hd audio manager, sorry about wasting your time. but i figured it out . thanks so much for the help i really appreciate it . again, sorry. /thread

That should not have anything to do with it. Mine is set to the CD Audio standard, 16 bit/44100Khz. I do not have any stuttering.
