Windows 7 Ultimate SP1
Computer is Asus P53E
Control Panel–Sound
playback Speakers “Realtec” High Definition Audio
recording Mic “Realtec” High Definition Audio
communication box checked for 80% reduction
Control Panel-“Realtec” High Definition Audio Manager
Control Panel-Device Manager–Sound, video and game controllers
“Intel” Display Audio
“Realtec” High Definition Audio Control Panel–Sound
Sound was OK when new. Since then I was trying to increase volume and thought that one of the settings could influence volume. Boy! was I wrong. Now, even "Utube" sound is not understandable. Cannot understand anything. If I could get all of the devices Back to default, maybe, the sound will return to normal. I have set all the sound system defaults that I can find. Maybe the speakers are bad.
Any ideas?
Bill
