I'm using a Logitech G230 (Note: I went to a friend's house and tested the mic and headset out before posting and it was a-okay)

This problem occurred recently when I came home and Noticed my computer a bit out of place (I'm not sure if it was tipped over or not)

I use the front Jack and it stopped working only for the mic. Audio works perfectly.
Tried the rear jack and same issues.

Windows 8.1 64 Bit

IDT High Definition Audio CODEC <---
Pro 9000 <-- Webcam (the mic feature stopped working too)

*MY Webcam Mic actually works. My Webcam is connected in the front USB port. I still would like to use my headset mic though*

Edit: saw this. I think it could help?

Try setting "Stereo Mix" as the default recording device. Then whatever recording device is used will be heard. This is the usual setting for the recording device. Stereo Mix also is needed if you ever want to record streaming audio from the Internet.

To enable Stereo Mix, in the recording panel, RIGHT click in an empty area and then LEFT click to show Disabled and Disconnected devices. Stereo Mix should now be shown and you can enable/make it the default recording device.

BTW, all the motherboard info posted is not needed. Please fill in the "My System Specs" as that helps us to help you. See my listed "My System Specs" for an example.

Stereo Mix doesn't come up anymore.
I tried reinstalling drivers before you even posted and now nothing IDT related pops up.
The Driver installation keep failing because it said it wasn't IDT supported but yet It said I was using it?
I couldn't hear anything until I restarted the computer.

The specs still do not state what motherboard you have. I have been to the MSI site but can't find a 2AE0 model motherboard. I wanted to confirm what sound hardware you have.

Also, please fill in the "My System Specs" with your system info, not post it in a thread.
Click on "User CP" at the top and then on the left will be a link to enter your system specs.
