mac osx lion bootcamp to windows 8 preview, NO SOUND :(

After successfully installing windows 8 on my Imac, I haven't been able to get any sound. I have tried numerous ways of fixing it, including:

uninstalling and reinstalling realtek audio driver (running compatibility and administrator) in device manager

turning up my volume - lol

and maybe a few more little tweeks that I can't think of at the moment.

Before going into registry editor I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. So if anyone has any idea on how to fix this, I would be greatly appreciated. I have been battling this puzzle for a few weeks now and need some advice.

I have the same problem

I have the same problem. The sound works fine on the mac but not on windows 8. I have checked the mixer levels and it looks as if sound is going through the mixer but no sound out. Help!
