I have a Toshiba Satellite C55Dt-A5305 with Windows 8.1. The Device Manager only tells me "AMD High Definition Audio Device" and "Realtek High Definition Audio". I've tried updating the drivers, and Windows says they are already the latest ones. The problem that I'm having is the sound is extremely low and without any bass. When I go to Speaker Properties, in the "Enhancements" tab, I have to constantly uncheck and re-check the box to disable all enhancements. This fixes the problem for a short time, and then it goes right back to the way it was. I've checked Windows update as well. I'm not sure what else to do. Does anyone have any ideas? Just to clarify, Windows is acting like it's saving the settings, and the settings I set show that they're still set, they just aren't having any affect after a few hours.
