Reducing Volume Amplification?

My audio output is my graphics card via HDMI (ATI HD5770) which is connected with my TV.
I need some software/filters or something else to reduce volume amplification in movies?
Example, when actors in movies just talking then volume is ok, but if there a war scene then volume jumping up, this blow my mind.

I've already tried Loudness Equalization, something like this Normalize Windows Volume With These Simple Tricks without success.

As you are using the HDMI audio and not the regular PC audio, you would have to have some type of control over the HDMI audio process. I have never seen any HDMI controls like are available for the PC audio.

Some of what you are hearing is because of surround sound. On my HD TV, with surround sound, if I have surround sound enabled on programs with surround sound the announcer (on a sports program) is hard to hear but I can hear other sounds loud. Same way on a movie with surround sound the background music and sound can be louder than the actor's dialog.

Sonar Platinum 64 bit recording studio software with MOTU 896Mk3 Hybrid recording interface unit.
It's dynamic content (wide dynamic range) and intended to be listened to like that.

You can use PowerDVD. It has an option to lessen the dynamic range while watching. It basically keeps the volume closer to being constant than without using it.

I will try. Thanks!

Edit:
It would be nice if the ATI in its Catalyst put such a thing.

CCC is driver-function software intended to make hardware work well.

This is more along the lines of manipulating content.

I know you mean for convenience and all that, but adding dynamic compression (like PowerDVD can do for you) is really not a function of the driver.
