Solved sound bars

Hi could someone give me a bit of advice please i have a 60 inch smart tv samsung the sound is not as clear as i would like so i am thinking of a sound bar i have no idea where to start .ie the size .has it got to match the size of the tv has it got to be the same make as the tv ??? any advice appreciated

Not sure you'll get a real answer here. This is a Windows 8 forum, not one that usually deals with something unrelated like this.

ok , just thought with it being a smart tv with computer built in some one may have had knowledge of the sound bars
also i posted on sound and audio !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Google for "HDTV forum" and you'll find several very good forums that discuss not only hdtv but stereo and all things related.

Sound bars are used to replace the front satellite speakers, you give up some sound quality but they can be better if you are limited in space. If you want really good sound at a affordable price there are several very good, low cost, 5.1 satellite systems on the market. For optimum results you should have a 5.1 A/V receiver, these can be found at affordable prices also. A self amped sound bar would not need any of this.

The newer Samsung smart TV's are pretty cool, easy to surf the net with, but not really a computer.
