SRS Premium Sound Uninstall

Does anyone know how to completely uninstall SRS Premium Sound? I cant find it in add/remove programs, and when I click on the icon from the app search, nothing happens. It doesn't even appear in the control panel. But I know it's having an effect because it's exaggerating the lows of my audio - around 100hz.

If its installed it is supposed to be in the Add/Remove programs list, according to the link that my2cents posted.

It may be some other sound enhancement that is causing your low freq issue rather than the SRS. You haven't posted any system specs so we can only guess, but some sound systems, such as RealTek have an HD Audio Manager and Sound Effects/Enhancements is one available feature that can affect sound.

Okay i've removed SRS, but the issue is still there....do you know of any other sound enhancers which could be responsible? I'm using IDT High Definition Audio.

Check the Control Panel/Hardware and Sounds. If there is some type of IDT panel, it will be located there (that is where my RealTek HD Audio Manager is located).

It may be something wrong with the speakers and not the PC audio.

If I'm not mistaken, SRS sound is tied to IDT Audio. You may want to re-install it, bring up the control panel and disable SRS sound from there.

If you can't find the control panel or see it, go to C:\Program Files\IDT\WDM.
Look for application IDTNGUI or the control panel IDTNC64.cpl.
