VIA HD Vdeck "We Can't Find HD Audio Device" Error

Hey Guys,

My VIA drivers won't install because it can't find the device. I'm trying the driver from the Biostar Website. I've tried the ones from the via website but those don't work either. I get nice clear audio but i can't configure my drivers so I can get my sub woofers working.

Check to see if you have installed the chipset driver or if there is an updated chipset driver for your mobo.

After checking your mobo's page you linked to...seems like that mobo doesn't support windows 8. I only see 2 drivers for windows 8 and those are the LAN/Audio drivers. The drivers that are there don't say what brand/manufacturer they are, very hard to decipher. I'm not a big fan of BioStar anyway.

Everything else works, and it says the drivers will work on Windows 8.

Go here and see if you have an option for surround sound. I do not have that option because I only have two speakers connected:

Nope, Nothing. I had my sub plugged into the mic jack on my mobo cause vdeck let me use it as an output. If you know of another software that does this PLEASE TELL ME!!!!
