Hello,
I m new to this forum so excuse me is there is a link similar someplace else.
my computer is connected to my samsung tv and there is a yamaha rx-v375 receiver in between the computer and the tv..now when i play a video/music/games off my ps3 which is connected to the same setup, it works great. so i can be safe to assume this rules out that the speakers may not be working.
now when i go to my windows configure my speakers. there are only stereo, quadrophonic, 5.1 and 7.1. it is awkward that there is no 2.1 so i went to 5.1 and unchecked the rear speakers and the center channel.
when i test my setup from the same configure my speakers window..it dings the stereo speakers but does nothing when its time for the sub to ding.
I ve tried everything that i can do..obviously im not a technologically sound person so any input would be great.
my sound card and video card are built into this.
MSI FM2-A85XA-G65 includes sound and video card.
please help..
