Not sure if this belongs here, but I posted in Sound/Audio and got no responses.
I assume this is probably something you can change is Regedit.
When I press my FN keys that control volume, the +volume and -volume do not make the metro style volume bar show up. However, when I press mute, it shows the volume bar. When I press mute/unmute and then +volume and -volume, the bar shows up and it slides, but it quickly disappears even though I keep changing the volume.
