So I recently installed Windows 8 and I am getting Static out of both my GPU and my dedicated audio card, I tried reinstalling the drivers multiple times with no luck, I also tried the unified Xonar drivers with no luck. I would think it was my card or speakers but its affecting the GPU sound also and I tried multiple speakers/headphones on both, I am pretty confused about this, it seems to happen more when the hard drive is accessed(In games, heavy MKV files, etc...loading of applications while listening to music or just scrolling on a webpage at times).
I remember this happening with my HDMI(460 card) on Windows 7 but it suddenly went away one day a couple weeks after install...so I forgot about it, my Xonar never had this issue. I use both sound sources(One for my TV, the other for my main computer) so I would love a fix for both really.
I am kinda an Audiophile and honestly this is keeping me from enjoying anything
Any ideas?
