Windows 8 has no sound at all

Hi. I just installed Windows 8 and i have no sound...at all. I installed drivers, reinstalled etc. Speakers ar conected properly so there is no problem with them. What do i do to get the sound back? Reinstall Windows?

Hi andzijs, welcome to the forums, go to device manager and uninstall the sound driver, reboot and let windows find the driver.
You could also uninstall any third party security installed.
If the above doesn't solve the problem, try a refresh with 2nd option in this Tutorial:http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2293-refresh-windows-8-a.html
You may have to reinstall your programs after the refresh. HTH.

I tried everything that you told and nothing worked, even the system refresh didn't. I have no idea why, and I have no idea how could I bring the sound back.

Check in services whether Windows Audio is running, you could also try different sound drivers ( older drivers).
