Solved People App - Editing contact info issues

In the People app, I was editing a contact's info (contact is from Facebook) to add a home phone number.

After clicking "Save", the contact is displayed with the original info + the new phone number and the top of the screen reads "Syncing". After the sync is complete, the phone number disappears and a second contact (with the same name) has been added to my list. The new contact only has the new phone number and nothing else.

I've tried multiple times, with same results.

Thoughts?

Ok, next morning and the info seems to have merged itself. There is now only one reference to my contact. Hmmm....
