Solved Adobe Reader

When I click on a .pdf file in my Email, it opens the file in (Excuse me) Metro!

Can't do anything in (excuse me) Metro, to small to read, can't print it!

Have to go back to the desktop, click on the .pdf file, open with Adobe Reader & then do what I want with it.

Am I missing something?

No, Tully, you're not missing anything unless we're doing something wrong. I found the "Metro" Adobe app to be crappy as well. There's no zoom in it and when one uses the monitor/screen zoom it's blurry. What's with that?!!

I've never liked Adobe and PDF from the get go. A resource hog of software. And now this "dirty word" PDF app really sucks!

I never liked Adobe. I once clicked on "Convert to Word". I did & they wanted money!

Took them forever to supply a "Player" that worked in Win7.

There are actually people who use Acrobat Reader in this day and age? I haven't used Adobe for this in years. I used to use FoxIt reader for a number of years and in the last 2 years I have used Sumatra.

Use Nitro PDF reader and associate it as your default PDF reader

Been using it for quite a while and works great on Windows 8. Has an option to convert a PDF to Text but have not tried it yet. Their Pro version ($) will convert to Word. It also installs a Printer option. You right click any file and select print and it gives you a choice to convert it to a PDF. Just associate your PDF's to the reader of your choice.
