had this problem for awhile now, no matter what browser i was using...(firefox, chrome, internet explorer)... it crashed or froze up or hanged when trying to save a file.... A month ago a friend told me to remove quicktime, i-tunes, and all the other apple components.. (apple software update, icloud, bonjour, etc) and then reboot the computer... and since then ive never had this problem again -- no crashes, and no freeze ups since i removed all apple products
so do you think Apple software is causing browsers to malfunction? thats what it looked like to me, if you have this problem, uinstall apple and see if that fixes it
