Windows Installshield opening hundreds of itself

My HP Support Assistant told me some programs had updates, so i started the update on one of them and it started installing. A few minutes later, a bunch of Windows Installshield programs started popping up on my taskbar, but just on my taskbar, clicking on them does nothing, hovering over one of them shows me nothing. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Okay, so I tried to make screenshots of what was happening for about an hour now, and absolutely nothing is working due to the sheer amount of lag being caused by all of the Installshield programs (or maybe there are just way too many applications open already, so my computer refuses to open any more, who knows?), Gyazo simply does not respond, attempting to open MS paint does nothing, etc. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Note: The same thing was happening to my computer when I left it on last night, though i have no idea what caused it to happen that time, but when I opened my task manager, there were over 600 "Setup Launcher (32 bit)"'s running. I restarted my computer, then proceeded to do what I described at the start of the post. There are currently over 400 "Setup Launcher (32 bit)"'s running right now, and any attempt to "End task" them just causes more to open. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
