Programme won't start on boot.

I am trying to get a programme to start at boot by putting it in the start folder. under my user name. The programme is Real Temp.
In Windows 7 all you have to do is turn of UAC and it will start at boot.

But on Windows 8 I have tried UAC off, run as admin and Windows 7 compatibility.
Is there something different in Windows 8 I am missing?
