I am asking for help concerning the freeing up of HDD space without compromising the function and viability of my operating system (Windows 8.1 x64) specifically whether or not I can uninstall the following:
Microsoft visual C++ 2005 redistributable
Microsoft visual C++ 2008 redistributable (x86) 9.0.3079.4148
Microsoft visual C++ 2008 redistributable (x86) 30.729.6161
Microsoft visual C++ 2010 redistributable (x64) 10.0.40219
Microsoft visual C++ 2010 (x86) redistributable 10.0.40219
Visual Studio 2005 tools for Office runtime
Visual Studio Tools for the Office system 3.0 runtime.
I have no programming experience whatsoever, but have been told that at least one of the above may be needed for internet activity. As mentioned I am trying to create much needed storage space and would welcome any advice.
