Flash Player Won't Stop Opening Settings Manager

When using latest versions of both Chrome & Firefox on games sites, keep getting Flash Player Settings Manager box popping up. (FP is the latest version also.) Have *numerous* times gone into the Settgs. Mgr./Local Storage/Global Settings, etc. & set everything to unlimited/don't ask again--tried doing this both with & without restarting browsers-- but it keeps popping up right in the middle of the game trying to play, very annoying. What's odd: using the same browsers & FP versions on my old Win7 computer but no problem. (Posted about this on Adobe forum but nothing they had me try worked.)

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking the following links and selecting "Save target as" (IE) or "Save Link as"(Firefox). Flash Player Uninstaller Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)Save the files to your Downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.Reboot your system. (IMPORTANT)BEFORE opening anything, go to the Downloads folder and run the UNINSTALLER to remove all instances of Flash Player.Next, run the ActiveX installer, and then the (other browsers) Installer.Lastly, see:Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer and: ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer to make 100% sure that Flash Player is enabled and NOT being blocked by ActiveX controls.

Apparently, one of the ways of fixing the "green screen" problem with the Adobe Flash Player in IE 10 is to unselect "Enable Hardware Accelerator" in the Display tab in the Settings menu (reached by right clicking on the video). However, when I right click on the flash video I the Settings menu...
