Windows Media Center Overscan Problem

When running WMC in the traditional full screen mode, there are no overscan issues:

However, when running WMC in windowed full screen mode (via The Maxifier), I get overscan issues:

I can switch back to the traditional full screen mode from the windowed full screen mode, and it goes back to normal (as expected)

It's rather annoying, and there's a tad bit of quality loss due to it being zoomed in by a small amount.

Does anybody know of a possible fix? Tweaking registry settings does nothing, so I'm wondering if WMC only removes overscan when in the normal full screen mode and not when it's technically shown as a window.

I'd love to continue using WMC, but I may have to look for alternatives (I actually tried many, but they either don't work or they don't integrated an EMG very well if at all).

Also, I just noticed that there are no overscan issues when recording programs via WMC.
