Cannot Install iTunes 12 64Bit On Windows 8.1

When Re-Installing iTunes On My Windows 8.1 Laptop I Receive This Error, After Clicking Ok It Continues To Install Yet Will Not Start Saying The Mobile Device Support Service Wont Start itunes error.jpg

That's a weird issue. I've installed iTunes on both my Win 8/8.1 laptop and desktop and had no install issues. The last install I did was a couple of months back because I did a Win 8.1 reinstall on the desktop and still no install or play issues.

Anyway try the redistributable C++ download adamf linked to and see if that helps.

cannot install C++ redistributable either

i am getting the same error message for itunes and when i tried to download the C++ redistributable this is the error message I am getting. Please help me download itunes 12 and C++ redistributable.
