I spent an hour working on an intricate project only to accidently click on FULL SCREEN. This isn't the first time either. The only way I know of to get rid of the full screen I to close the program. So that's what I had to do and lost my hour's hard labor. I've Googled the problem and see that others have the same problem. For some F11 works for othrs Tab. For me NOTHING.

Anyone know how I can get my full screen back without having to close the program, (by clicking on the taskbar icon because with full screen I don't have my top toolbar to do anything!!!!!

Strange that taping the F11 key does not bring you to a normal. Alt key + Enter will bring a normal screen.

Should you wish to get the Taskbar, use the Windows key + T
Click anywhere on the screen and the Taskbar will hide itself on the full screen.

Nope didn't work. The only way I could get out of the program was to close it from bottom toolbar.

Hi Barbee

Have just downloaded PSP 7 and installed it on my Win 8.1 Virtual Machine.
Went into Full Screen Edit and you're right, there's no obvious way out of it.
Found this Help page where it says to go ... 'Shift .. A'.

Paint Shop Pro 7 - Viewing

Worked for me on my machine.
In fact with 'Shift .. A' you can toggle back and forth between Full Screen Edit and Normal viewing

Wow! Thank you for taking the time to do this for me. You went the extra mile and I appreciate it. I will try it. Shift A, Thanks. :dinesh:
I'm making ebook covers for the books I wrote and as you can probably guess, it's time consuming and intricate and then to have to close and lose hours of work is heartbreaking. Consider yourself hugged.

OK I went in and tried it and at first it didn't work and I was soooo disappointed but I kept banging on the A and finally it worked. Kudos. The darned view with the first option being full screen and right next to edit, I kept hitting view instead of edit and then slapped my head.... Oh noooo!
