    Data Recovery Software..

Whose used any really amazing paid/unpaid recovery software??

    i've currently used

Recuva (actually did not get what i wanted..)

Stellar Phoenix Data ( actually seemed to be the best so far..)

Easus Data (seemed on par with Stellar Data )

I'm now currently using QphotoRec (and it's gettings stuff but not fun to use and getting too much crap files i dont want)

Rather than attempting to recover data after something goes wrong it is far better to make backups while everything is working well. Then when a problem develops you simply restore the files from backup. Simpler and far more reliable.

Unfortunately many people never learn the lesson about backups until it is too late.

I have never had the need for recovery software.

Windows File History is enough for me. I just took a look and it has stuff from when I first setup my computer(of course the 2nd internal disk is large enough to hold it).

ok guys.. thanks.. but it doesnt help me to feel any better! i pulled the ol'e accidental format of a 4 terabyte drive one night i was too tired and quickly (that is the key here) quickly selected the wrong drive and hit format.. then yes.. yes.. and well .. that was that..

but now i actually do have to do data recovery.. and i have another 3 programs to try.. but as you can imagine it takes 1 day per program! (meaning stellar, easus data, minitools, 7-data, etc..Ontrack recover) its 4 terabytes!

How did your files get lost? there are lots of recovery programs online, such as eassos recovery, easeus, easy recovery, partitionguru, r-studio, etc. If all of them can't find your files, lost files must have been overwritten, which mean no one can retrieve them. 27 Best Free Photo Recovery Software For Windows

Bad Data Back Up? Recovery?
