Solved How to uninstall program on specific user accounts

I have multiple user accounts and want to uninstall some programs so they only appear on my main (admin) user account.

Uninstalling the programs from my main user account simply removes it from that as well as the others.

Can I uninstall from specific accounts only?

This link might help.
It involves gpedit.msc.

Thanks for the link.

My main reason for wishing to uninstall (rather than restrict running) is that whenever I switch to other profiles I get prompts from many programs to update/authorise/misc other processes.

Although I have removed them from my auto-start in my main profile, they still burst into life when I log into the others.

You can't uninstall for specific accounts, no. It sounds like you want to restrict access as David says and then remove the startup items from the other accounts. You could sign into them all to do this or you could try Autoruns for Windows and specify all users.
