I've got a Windows 8 laptop, just over a year old, and a few weeks ago I uninstalled my Sims 3 game due to issues running it (likely due to the low memory on my laptop). Shortly after, I ran into an issue with a bug that I couldn't get rid of so I had to do a system restore to a date before I uninstalled the game. Now, I can't uninstall the game. I get error code -5005 : 0x80070002 and I'm not quite sure what to do now. I don't want the game taking up space on my computer and since I can't play it (it crashes unless I save every few minutes, even in Create A Sim mode where I am unable to save), there's no reason to keep it on my computer. I didn't download it with a CD, but through Amazon Instant Download, where I had bought and downloaded it for a previous laptop. Help?
