I got a new Dell Inspiron 15 laptop with Windows 8.1 a week ago, and I'm having a problem with Windows Media Player 12. When I click on "find album info" I get the following message: 500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

It was working fine the first few days but the past couple of days I've been getting this message whenever I try to find album info. I was able to load close to 200gb worth of music before the problems started. I've been looking for a fix but have found nothing that works. Any suggestions or tips are appreciated.

Turns out it's a nationwide problem with WMP and you're definitely not the only person experiencing it. It's out of our control; hopefully Microsoft gets it under wraps soon. Check it out
