several problems with microphone and skype

hello
i have some problems with skype and microphone please help
1-when i plug in an external microphone *for example samsung mobile headphone* i just listen to myself even if i uncheck listen to
2-skype mutes every thing , i also checked nothing on communication
3-i hear many beeps when i use my external microphone
i tried many microphones which work well on other devices but not here
PS : skype doesn't mute anything and there is noob beeps on using internal microphone *laptop lenovo G580*

Try updating Skype (just came out), "Some sound problems and clarity problems resolved" they say.

Skype for desktop has less problems.
