Looking for an app that can monitor

Hiya folks, I seem to be having issues with FLAC files, whenever I have one on my PC, UAC seems to lock onto it, even though UAC is turned off, when UAC isn't locking the file down, it says it is open in another programme. I can't delete these files, or rename them, I need to use a small programme called Unlocker, to remove them, is there any software out there, that will monitor just what is going on as I try to delete a file? And possibly see what program is clinging onto it?

What audio player do you set .flac to open with ? You could try to set the default player, right click on the .flac file and set the default to see if it works.

If it still does not work, try to run:
  1. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Protect, Detect & Remove Malware From Your PC
  2. AdwCleaner

I use KM Player, but switched it to my Winamp, and same results, just ran Spybot Scan, same, it's weird!

I installed KMPlayer in the past for friends and the recent version, they put a lot of adware/toolbar so I told them to switch to VLC Player.
Malwarebytes seems to be a better choice to scan your PC.

Open the registry and look at: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.FLAC to see what does it set to.

You can delete the .flac key. this will clear everything and then try to set your default program to open .flac with winamp.

When you say delete the FLAC key do you mean the whole FLAC section, or the winamp part
