Windows 8 'mail app' Issue

I have a issue where I can't use the charms bar (to go to apps settings) and I can't drag from title bar (to kill app). Help? :confused:

Hello Daxter,

For now, you should be able to press the :winkey: + I keys while in the app to open the charm settings for the app. You might also see if you may be able to open the charm settings using any of the same methods below to open the Charms bar.

Did you disable the charms hint corners by chance?

You should also be able to close an app using one of the other methods in the tutorial below. I find it's best to try and drag the app closed when the new title bar opens.

In that case, it may be time to refresh or reset Windows if a doing a system restore using a restore point dated before this happened doesn't sort it. :(
