I just saw this and wanted you to know it's not a rip-off, such software used to also be called Shareware as far back as the mid-'80s. It allowed installing to see if it was something useful or desired before buying or uninstalling. There's coded/hidden information saved somewhere on the HDD/Hard Disk Drive that doesn't get deleted that prevents installing again, no way to get around that except by wiping the HDD and installing everything new.
