Solved Xbox Music missing from app store

Stared having issues with xbox music today and noticed it had been updated

I went to the store to see if any notes about the update and the app has gone

If I go to rate the app (from it running and using settings) it opens the store and says that the app is no longer available

Can anyone else see this app in the store (I am in the UK) and any idea why it's been pulled, been searching but cannot find anything

Here's a link to the Music app in the Store. It'll open in your default browser 1st, then open in your Store app.

I click the link, the store opens, the store looks like it tries to change pages to that one, then just returns me to the page I was on in the store

Do you see the app ok if you click on the link?
Trying to see if its an issue with the store for me or the UK store in general

Your Store should open to the Music app like below. If not, see if search for "Music" in the Store will find it.

According to another forum, it is missing from the India store also, weird

Odd. See if the Music app may be available to install from "My apps" in the Store instead.

Just checked, Doesn't exist in the My Apps section (odd as I think it's pre installed with windows so should be there)

I can see the Video app fine but not the Music one

That's correct, the Music app is included in Windows 8 by default.

I can view the app ok there but then when it goes to the store it doesn't find it

I was going to do a reinstall of it because of issues with new update for it today, luckily I spotted it missing before removing it

have to keep checking, hopefully come back soon

Whatever was going on yesterday it is now fixed, Music is back in the store
