Hi guys,

I want to delete few images from my Photos app in Metro.

These images are not there in the specified folder when I looked upon in File Explorer.

Now I select the images I want to delete (Only the ones not in the File Explorer i.e., which I have deleted from File Explorer prior to Photo app image deletion but still present in Photo metro app)-

And, after I press DELETE, there is nothing deleted & you can see that the number of images I selected for deletion keeps on adding.. in the message I get on the upper right corner saying ''18 items couldn't be recycled".

Once again I do it -

After properly shutting down by pressing SHIFT key & powering on, its is still like that.

After doing a hard reset, and powering on to check, it's still like that.

Any suggestions?

P.S.:
All the drivers, BIOS, Windows updates are up to date.

No other problems.

SFC scan is no integrity violations. CHKDSK is no errors. BIOS HDD & Memory test - extensive are PASSED.

Memtest86+ complete 6 passes overnight with no errors.

Thanks all of you helping, in advance !

N.B.: Sorry If this problem has been discussed already & I couldn't find it.
