I recently purchased a Laser EB720 eReader.
The built in software on this device does not properly pick up the metadata for PDF,EPUB, or MOBI files.
According to the manual it relies on getting author from the "file properties".
As a result, it is impossible to view books in the "By Author" list. Everything shows as "<No Author>", and that includes those books pre-installed on the device.
I assume that by "file properties" the manual is referring to those properties that we can see in Windows as opposed to the metadata picked up by products like Calibre and Adobe Digital Editions.
Is there a windows application that can add the author tag to these files?
