So I have an office 365 subscription and I went to go install it on my computer and the installer froze, so I used the task manager to end the task and now when I try to go install it again I get "Couldn't start office installation" because it claims there is an installer already going but I do not see one in the system tray or in task manager. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Hi there. The installer froze or your system froze? There may be folders it installed, so therefore saying there's an installer? That may be worth a try. Also if it records anything in UEFI.
Thanks for the quick reply, the installer froze. For over two hours I couldn't get it to install as every time I tried to run the installer it kept saying the installer was still running. Let the computer run over night and I guess just needed a unreasonable amount of time as it is now installing just fine. Thanks for your response.
Problem now is we'll probably never know. Pinging a server might not have gone through. Busy servers. Down servers. Heck, one member here reporting that he or she can't download apps from the Store because their data service is too slow. With new tech comes new problems.
