I personally never experienced any problems with Revo but have seen couple of negative results but only with driver removal. I never use it for that, there are better ways to remove them. Because of constant testing of programs a tool like that is almost a must because of some really flawed uninstalls by programs and windows uninstall is no more than just a link to particular program's uninstaller and mess left after it in some instances so bad that using dedicated uninstaller program and eventual backlash is really worthwhile. Good and constant backups are necessary anyway, whether using Revo or not. I actually had more problems using "normal" uninstall than by using Revo. Those are my experiences with it after few years and literary hundreds or maybe thousands of programs uninstalled with it. Just using hours to clean up file system and registry manually can override any chance of Revo screwing something up.
