any safe sites to download anymore

I find that a lot of so called "safe sites" push adware when you download programs.

Cnet-File-hippo-snap files etc all used to be good.

any suggestions for adware free sites.

In particular, I want Media Classic/Snippy/

most generate their income like this,
I think the best of them is majorgeeks.
Thats not the end of the story thou,
I always >>Custom install<< if i can that can stop a lot of the bloatware, i hate adobe they always try to download something extra
