After resetting my win8 I would like to ask for some advice on removing bloatware and getting my system to run as smooth as silk.

I have been looking around and have heard of decrapifier but not sure if this is ok to use??

If there are any tuts you know of that i can follow to get my win8 running like a demon I would like to hear, thanks!

I would just use the builtin windows uninstaller (Start key + R, type : appwiz.cpl). From what I understand decrapifier just automatizes what to uninstall with its lists of bloatware; if you already know what you want to get rid of, no need to use it.

Installing 3rd party tools to "clean" other 3rd party applications seems... counterproductive. I always try to rely on windows tools 1st, my two cents.

Windows uninstaller does not clean up after, all the time, especially crappy programs. I like using "Revo Uninstaller" as it cleans up most of leftover files and registry settings.
You can also use " Turn windows features on or off" from "Programs and features" in the control panel to get rid of some of windows stuff you do not want but be careful with it.

LOL.....I'm guessing tuts is a typo for tips.

Stopping unnecessary addons from permanently running in the background is the best approach. Start with an app called Starter.exe and progress to AutoRuns when you have learned a bit.
Starter Free Download - Startup Manager
Autoruns for Windows

Once you get the details on something that you don't recognize do a web search to find what the consensus is on whether you need it or not.
